Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned those fuelling violence, stating that such actions are not only against Balochistan but the entire nation. 

The Prime Minister emphasised that perpetrators of unrest are enemies of Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Addressing the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Prime Minister expressed hope for a permanent ceasefire in the Hamas-Israel conflict. 

He highlighted the devastating toll of the war, with over 50,000 Palestinians, including women, children, doctors, engineers, and youth, martyred, thousands imprisoned, and Gaza reduced to rubble.

He reaffirmed Pakistan's longstanding support for Palestinian freedom and ceasefire efforts. "Pakistan will continue to play its role and contribute to the reconstruction phase in Gaza," he stated.

Shehbaz Sharif lauded the start of operations at Gwadar International Airport, built with a $230 million Chinese grant. 

He noted that the airport now ranks among Pakistan’s major airports and will be highly beneficial for the economy of Balochistan and the entire country. 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called China a true friend whose generous contribution deserves appreciation.

The PM also revealed that the World Bank has outlined a long-term partnership framework, which includes a $20 billion investment in Pakistan over the next decade.

Highlighting progress in the IT sector, Shehbaz Sharif said December recorded $348 million in IT exports, attributing this success to the team’s efforts. 

He pledged continued support for the sector, as it is critical for Pakistan's economic growth. 

Additionally, he reiterated the government’s commitment to advancing the electric vehicle program to further boost the economy.

On the subject of Hajj preparations, the Prime Minister assured that the government is working to provide the best possible facilities for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah and other sacred locations.

Shehbaz Sharif also praised the sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism, particularly against extremist groups like "Fitna-e-Khawarij," stating that the nation owes a debt of gratitude to the martyrs. 

He emphasised that achieving peace and prosperity requires collective effort and acknowledged the profound sacrifices of security forces and citizens who have given their lives for the country’s stability.
