On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the shrine of Bibi Pakdaman is open for devotees, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The chief minister visited the shrine and reviewed the renovation and expansion works.
He interacted with workers and praised them. He also heaped praise on the high quality of the work.
In his previous visits too, the chief minister lauded the labourers for their hard work.
The upper parts of the shrine will be completed by the 12th of Muharram, he said.
He said the widening of the road will provide a lot of convenience to the visitors.
He prayed for prosperity and progress at the shrine.
He was briefed about the ongoing work during the visit.
Religious scholar Maulana Muhammad Hussain Akbar, Agha Muhammad Shah, Auqaf Minister, and officials concerned were also present.
