PTI founder Imran Khan’s spouse Bushra Bibi shared Khan’s arrest story with the media persons outside Adiala Jail.
She said that the former PM was sleeping when he was arrested from Zaman Park last year.
The bulletproof glass in the house was also shattered during the raid, she said, adding that the police put a cloth in his mouth and dragged him.
“I met Khan Sahab in Attock Jail after eight days of his detention. He was so weak.”
She talked about Imran Khan’s ordeal in confinement, she said there was no cleanliness and they didn’t provide him with food to eat.
“The PTI chairman was provided with food once a day and that was unhygienic.”
She took a swipe at the persons responsible for sending Imran to jail.
She said the rivals of Khan kept a sincere person in jail, whereas thieves and dacoits were given VIP treatment.
She went on: “I and Khan Sahab are ready to swear that all the cases against us are based on lies. Will the people who implicated us in bogus cases do so?
“I'm not a coward. My arrest was also called a deal.
“I am bringing these things on record because I don't know if I will survive or not.
“Imran Khan’s life is in danger.”
“Our petition regarding poisoning chairman Imran Khan is still in court but the decision is not being given yet.
“Though I have not nominated any person, why they are afraid? Jail officers have been transferred every day.”
About the Iddat case, Bushra Bibi said she offered Nawafil when got bail.
She added: “After having been acquitted in the Iddat case, I thought I was going to be released but taken to the Jail Superintendent’s office where I got to know I would not be freed. I was forced to go out of the jail and nabbed.”
The founder of PTI repeatedly forbade his wife during media talks.
“Let me talk, I will put everything in front of the media, Bushra Bibi replied to the PTI founder.
Khan Sahab said this is censored media and will not run your talk upon which journalists protested in front of the founder PTI saying, “You are making fun of us, all your talk is going on, all your talk is on air.”
The PTI founder went back to silent on the protest of the journalists.
