The report on an investigation into the PIA plane crash on May 22 will be submitted to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday.
A PIA plane, which was flying from Lahore to Karachi with 99 passengers and crewmembers on board, crashed into a residential area moments before landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International airport. As many as 97 people on board died, but two passengers were lucky enough to survive the crash.
A day earlier, the prime minister had asked Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan for an update on the investigation report. In response, the aviation minister had assured the prime minister that he would submit the investigation report on the plane crash on Monday, June 22.
