The federal cabinet Tuesday appreciated the efforts of Pak Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to achieve the targets of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Qamar Zaman Kaira briefed the media about the decisions taken by the cabinet in the Tuesday meeting in Islamabad.
Talking to the media, Ahsan Iqbal said getting out of the grey list of the FATF will be a significant achievement for Pakistan and the cabinet has appreciated the efforts of the Army Chief in this regard.
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) backed Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the group formed by the Army Chief on FATF played an important role to achieve the targets.
Ahsan Iqbal informed the media that the ships of edible oil are coming from Indonesia and the cabinet has also been taken into confidence on the matter.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) backed Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said, in the meeting, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail took the cabinet into confidence on the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
