Authorities of the Rawal Dam Islamabad have issued a flood alert for the residents adjacent to the Nala Korang as the spillway of the dam may have to be opened at any time due to high water.
The 24News HD TV channel reported on Tuesday that the level of water in Rawal Dam has become high due to the recent pre-monsoon rains continuing across the country.
As per the report, Rawal Dam Sub-Divisional Officer Islamabad issued the warning on Tuesday that the water flow in Nala Korang will increase at any time so the residents should not cross it except through bridges.
In the warning, the officer also said that the residents and passers-by of Pandorian, Sohaan, Shakrial and Burma should not cross Nala Korang from any other place.
