Gold prices further decreased in Pakistan

The gold price in Pakistan on the consecutive second day of the week on Tuesday saw another decline in the local market.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24-Karat gold fell by a further Rs200 per tola and Rs171 per 10 grams to reach Rs2,20,500 per tola and Rs1,89,043 per 10 grams respectively.
Yesterday (Monday), the price of 24-Karat gold was fell by Rs1,000 per tola and Rs858 per 10 grams to reach Rs2,20,700 and Rs1,89,214 respectively.
On Tuesday, the 22 karats of gold being used in jewellery making in Pakistan's price of 10 grams was reduced to Rs1,73,290.
The price of the yellow metal did not change in the international market on Tuesday and traded at US$1951 per ounce.
Yesterday, the price of gold in the international market was decreased by $7 to settle at $1,951 per ounce.
While the price of 24 karats pure silver was also reduced by Rs50 per tola to Rs2,600 per tola. The price of 10 grams of 24 karat silver also declined by Rs42.86 to Rs2229.08 per 10 grams.
