The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) took over the administrative affairs of the Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) for 13 days till June 17 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
On the PICT issue, an important board meeting had been convened on Sunday last in which all the members including the KPT chairman were present.
The PICT contract expired on June 17 of the ongoing month.
An Abu Dhabi-based group has shown interest in taking over the PICT.
