The Punjab Textbook Board has banned the O-level history book for violating rules, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Regarding the ban, the School Education Department issued a formal notification on Friday.

According to the notification, the book contains content against the rules and regulations of Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB).

Online users expressed suspicions about the syllabus printed in the book.
