Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s father Imran Mirza has strongly refuted her wedding rumors with prominent cricketer Mohammed Shami, reportedly saying “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him."
In case the readers are not aware, social media was buzzing with rumors and unverified reports claiming that Sania Mirza and cricketer Mohammad Shami may tie the knot in August: However, lately, as per the information from significant sources, Imran Mirza during an interview with New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) debunked the all with clarifying nothing such is on the cards.
It is important to mention that Sania Mirza has lately performed Hajj and sought forgiveness for “wrongdoings” and expressed gratitude for her life.

It is also important to note that Sania was previously married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. The tennis star had announced her divorce with the Pakistani all-rounder in January. Sania and Shoaib share one son together. The latter, however, soon tied the knot with Pakistani actress Sana Javed. Recently, Sania made an appearance at the Kapil Sharma Show and jibed about finding a love interest.
Host Kapil reminds Sania of Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s generous offer of playing her love interest onscreen should the need ever arise. “I have to find a love interest first!” responds Sania.
