The district administration of Lahore has prepared 5,000 hand sanitizers named ‘Wilclean’ and provided it to all pharmacies on Saturday in high-demand areas of the city at half the price.
Lahore district administration spokesperson confirmed this development to 24NewsHD and said each sanitizer bottle is of 120ml available at Rs150 instead of Rs300. “Sanitizers are available in those areas where the demand is high and all hand sanitizers are made on the approved formulae of World Health Organization,” he said.
There are 96 coronavirus confirmed patients in Punjab while the Punjab Chief Minister on Friday talking to media persons said that there were 15 Covid-19 cases in Lahore.
Amid the coronavirus outbreak in the city, the district administration had taken the initiative and provided the material to Wheelshare Pharma for the manufacturing of the hand sanitizers and it is available at all the pharmacies in city.
Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that 1300 new testing kits for Covid-19 have been acquired from the federal government.
Punjab government has already set up the ‘biggest quarantine’ of Pakistan for Corona virus patients and suspects in Multan. It can house 3,000 patients at a time and can be extended for 6,000 patients.
