Pakistani popular and most talented television star Mahira Khan Sunday spotted in an interview with the legendary Anwar Maqsood.
In a one-on-one conversation ‘Makho’ from ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ talked about her childhood and her interest to become an actress.
She told her entire journey after entering the showbiz industry and that she always wanted to be an actor since childhood.
She said once she watched a film on VCR when she was young and when saw the dance performance of the heroine and that time she felt like that was what she wanted to do.
‘Humsafar’ actress said that she told her mother too about her interest and every time with her cousins she used to say, ‘I will become an actress.’
But on the other hand, her grandmother (Nani) did not prefer her to join showbiz as she was good at studies.
Later, Khan said that she went abroad for higher studies and then came back to Pakistan she joined the showbiz industry as a VJ and then moved towards dramas and films.
While talking her work in Bollywood Anwar Maqsood asked her a question “What else is common in you and Shah Rukh Khan except nose?
Mahira laughed and revealed that when she joined the industry many people had told her to fix her nose but she did not take that idea seriously.
‘Ho Maan Jahan’ actress shared a funny memory with King Khan who once said during a shot with her, “There is a war of the noses.”
Mahira highlighted the importance of financial independence for women in Pakistan and politics.
During the interview, Anwar Maqsood asked her whom she supports from two political parties PMLN and PTI.
Upon which she replied, ‘I am with Pathan’.
Mahira also asked a question from Anwar Maqsood, “If you will be the Prime Minister of Pakistan then what will you do for the country?
“I will forgive all the corrupt people then they will themselves leave corruption”, replied Maqsood.
