Pakistani heartthrob Sheheryar Munawar has finally shed light on the controversies regarding him touching the feet of Bollywood legend Nawazuddin Siddiqui and deleting his picture with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
The ‘Parey Hut Love’ actor made an appearance in ‘The Talk Talk Show' with Hassan Chaudhary. It seems that the host had already planned to make the segment highly engrossing by asking his guest to reveal the tea behind controversies related to him.
When the actor was asked to share his two cents regarding the state of events that took place between him and Deepika, Sheheryar had a very candid response: “I felt that my angle was not right in the picture. I wanted the right profile photo with her so I removed that picture”.
However, Hasan was in the mood for an elaborate discussion regarding the whole occurrence so he further stated: “Why did you not click another photo with Deepika Padukone?”
Sheheryar Munawar responded: “We were attending a casual dinner there. Someone had captured our photo without permission and made it viral. So, it was not my intention to capture a photo with her.”
Here is what the celebrated Pakistani star said regarding the incident involving him and Nawazuddin: “It was misrepresented. We three (I, Mahira Khan, and Nawazuddin) were doing casual chit-chat at the Filmfare award ceremony. Where I told him that I am a great fan. After my declaration, Mahira Khan funnily told me to touch the feet of my master (Nawazuddin). I did that in a completely humorous way.”
Sheheryar also commented: “I was not in a professional position there. As a Sindhi, the gesture is part of my culture. A makeup artist captured the video of my action and made it viral.”
