Celebrated Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal recently appeared as a guest at Fuchsia Magazine's Ramadan special show ‘Ramzan Eid Aur Hum’ where she talked about her career and lifestyle.

She wore a traditional outfit, and a white long shirt, and sat on the floor along with the host Rabia Mughni, and the actor Adeel Chaudhry.

It was an interesting conversation between the three as they recalled their childhood memories of Ramadan and the delicious Iftar they used to have in the holy month of Ramadan.

During the conversation, she talked about the people who thought negatively about actresses and said, “The people who look at us think of it negatively, but we are the same as you guys.

Moreover, she shed light on the deceptive nature of social media. She highlighted the difference between the real life and the life portrayed online.

Sometimes I put up a picture that is a week old. It is not happening in real-time.”

Talking about the routine in Ramadan she said she often avoids using her mobile phone and prefers reading the Quran, offering Namaz, and then sleeping.

“After iftar, I just want to eat, pray, and go to bed,” she remarked.

She said her mother always maintained a regular connection with Allah so she attributes this habit to her mother.

“Throughout my childhood, my mother would always be reciting something and always said her prayers on time. To me, I understood that this is something you have to do, and now, it gives me peace.”

Discussing the types of projects that come her way, Momina illustrated that the majority of scripts she has worked with have had black and white characters, with no room for grey in between. “People can say what they want about me, but if I am given a script a certain way, that is the only way I will be able to represent the character,” she stressed.

Later, she did many projects and garnered love from the public.

She made her film debut in 2019 with ‘Daal Chawal’.
