Former Pakistani cricketer Sajjad Akbar passes away

Former international cricketer Sajjad Akbar has passed away at the age of 63 following a heart attack, confirmed by his brother Amir Akbar.

The cricketing community mourns the loss of a dedicated sportsman and mentor.

Sajjad Akbar, a respected figure in Pakistani cricket, represented the nation in two international matches.

Beyond his brief international career, he made a significant impact in domestic cricket, playing 182 first-class matches.

Known for his skills on the field, Sajjad Akbar was also a level four coach, actively involved in coaching and nurturing young talent in domestic cricket.

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi condoled the death of the former cricketer.
