The Sindh Education Department has also announced two-month summer vacations for government and private educational institutions throughout the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Education Department issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday. According to the notification, the two-month summer vacations will start from June 2 and will culminate on July 31.

According to the notification, the summer vacations are being sanctioned as per the decision of the steering committee.

Earlier in a video message, the schoolchildren appealed Sindh chief minister to announce summer vacations as the heatwave is gripping most of the cities in the province.

“Uncle Murad Ali Shah, it’s very hot outside. The children are going to school in the intense heat. It’s almost impossible to sit in the classrooms as there is no electricity most of the time,” said one girl student.
