Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) early Tuesday morning and reviewed the progress made on the institute’s upgradation and expansion of its emergency block, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He went to each and every floor of the hospital and inspected the quality of the ongoing construction of private wards and rooms.
The CM said that more beds will be placed in the emergency block after its upgradation. “LED screens will be installed at the block,” he informed.
He, on the occasion, directed the hospital administration to make sure that oxygen was not leaked.
Similarly, he ordered further expansion of private rooms, and timely completion of the institute’s upgradation.
On the occasion, he also talked to patients and their attendants, and listened to their problems.
