Khawar Manika, the ex-husband of former first lady Bushra Bibi, has made shocking revelations about PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s third marriage.

In 2018, cricketer-turned-politician Imran tied the knot for a third time with Bushra (also known as Pinky) after divorcing first Jemima Goldsmith and then TV presenter Reham Khan.

Speaking on a private television programme, Khawar said Imran used to come to his home without his permission.

“I was not happy about Pinky's meetings with him (Imran). Once I got him out of my house with the help of my servant,” he recalled.

He added that during Imran's sit-ins in Islamabad, Bushra's sister Maryam Wattoo took Bushra to a meeting with the PTI chief.

He continued: “Our marriage lasted for 28 years. We had a very happy life, but Imran destroyed my life on the pretext of spiritual healing.

“They started meeting in Islamabad.

"My mother used to say that Imran was not a good person. Don't let him come to your house.

“At the request of Imran, Farah Gogi ( a close friend of Bushra) provided them with secret phone numbers for talking secretly.

“I had my own house in Bani Gala. Bushra used to see Imran Khan without telling me.

“Six months before tying the knot with Imran, Bushra left my house and went to her house.

"I visited Pakpattan and asked her to come with me. But she refused and then Farah sent a message asking me to divorce Pinky.

“I went to Bushra and asked her if she wanted a divorce. She bowed her head and did not answer.

"I sent the divorce certificate to Bushra through Farah on November 14, 2017. But Farah and Zulfi Bukhari asked me to change the divorce date and keep quiet as Imran wants to become the prime minister. I and my children were oblivious to the marriage."
