Federal govt seeks Sindh Police personnel ahead of PTI's Nov 24 protest

The federal government has sought help from the Sindh government ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest on Nov 24. 

The federal government has sought a huge contingent of the Sindh Police in the federal capital before PTI supporters march on Islamabad. 

In response, the Sindh Police inspector general has ordered immediate departure of the police personnel to the federal capital. According to reports, 1,350 policemen from various training centres of the Sindh Police are leaving for Islamabad. At least 263 policemen from Shahid Hayat Training Centre, 228 from Razzaqabad Training Centre, 315 from Haiderabad Training Centre and 544 from Khairpur Training Centre are leaving for Islamabad.
