Federal Urdu University has increased the semester fee by Rs15,000 that irked varsity students who are protesting the move urging the administration to take back the decision, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The per semester fee of BS (Honr) has crossed Rs40,000 and reached Rs55,700 including a tuition fee of Rs44,500.
The revised transport charges are Rs7,000.
Wafaqi Urdu University students lodged their strong protest on the revised and increased fee and transport charges.
The protesting students urged the university administration to take back the increase per semester fee.
Students’ vowed to continue their protest till the acceptance of their demands.
