Reacting over the Supreme Court's (SC) explanation issued yesterday, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said apart from the Parliament, no institution has the authority to interpret the Constitution as it likes.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Azma Bukhari said in a statement issued here on Sunday that a consensus on the constitutional amendment is a good thing, but talking to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a waste of time.
The Punjab Information Minister said a constitutional court is being established according to the Charter of Democracy (CoD).
She said when the PTI delegation went to Adiala yesterday to discuss the constitutional amendment, the PTI founder kept crying about his issues in jail for 45 minutes.
Azma Bukhari stated that NRO to the PTI founder will not be given. She also said that drinking coconut and beetroot juice in jail does not lead to revolution.
