A man on Wednesday set himself on fire after being failed to pay interest on his loan in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The tragic incident took place in the jurisdiction of New Faujidari Police Station in Saddar area of Shikarpur where the 42-year-old man named Wasim Masih set himself on fire by dousing petrol on himself after being fed up of paying interest.
According to his family, he took a loan some years ago and was immensely depressed after failing to pay the interest due to which he committed self-immolation.
He made a video as well before self-immolation in which he mentioned the name of his moneylenders and blamed them as the reason behind his suicide.
Later, the video went viral like a wildfire on social media.
