Air Sial has cancelled its domestic flights operation after two of its planes developed technical faults on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Technical problems were reported in the Air Sial's two Airbus A320 aircraft which affected its flights schedule.

Air Sial’s flights from Karachi to Islamabad and one from Karachi to Lahore were affected.

Flights were suspended for the second consecutive day as the aircraft were yet not fully repaired.

Air Sial has cancelled the domestic route instead of the international one due.

According to the management of the Air Sial, two planes have been grounded due to technical problems and the repair work is under way.

The management said that the safety of the passengers is a priority, so thorough inspection of the planes was necessary.

Air Sial has provided alternative tickets of other airlines to the passengers who have booked the tickets, said the administration.

These flights will remain cancelled until the reports regarding the planes fitness are received.
