Prime Minister Imran Khan has called a meeting of the National Coordination Committee on Covid-19 on Friday in the wake of an abrupt rise in coronavirus cases. The key decisions regarding protective preventive measures are expected to be taken in the meeting.
Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan Thursday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and briefed him regarding the prevailing situation in the country.
According to 24News HD TV Channel, the NCC meeting will be held at the PM House. Key decisions are expected to be taken during the meeting in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases. The meeting will be attended by the officials from National Command and Operation Centre, the Minister of Health and Education.
Expectedly, the meeting will decide the smart lockdown and opening up the educational institutions.
