Drizzle, accompanied by strong winds, in different parts of Lahore late Thursday night turned the weather pleasant while the Met Office has predicted intermittent light rain for the city on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Parts of the provincial capital receiving drizzle and even light rain included the areas surrounding the Greater Iqbal Park, Ravi Road and Shahdara Ring Road.
It was partly cloudy on Friday morning while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, air pollution in the city also dropped considerably as the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 106.
Partly cloudy weather and cool sea breeze have been keeping the temperatures under control in Karachi.
On Friday maximum temperature is expected to hover between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the Met department has forecast light rain accompanied by strong winds for Islamabad, Murree, Galyat, Potohar region, different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Kashmir and the country’s northern areas during the next 24 hours.
It has predicted hot and dry weather for Sindh and Balochistan.
