The weekly inflation rate has decreased by 1.28 per cent and now stands at 15.42 per cent, 24NewsHD TV channel Friday reported citing a report of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
According to the report of the bureau of statistics, an increase was witnessed in the prices of 19 essential commodities during the last week.
The prices of eggs went up by Rs2.21 per dozen during the last week.
The price of broiler chicken increased by Rs4.88 per kg, and, the price of Dal Masoor rose by Rs2.19 per kg, according to the bureau of statistics.
Similarly, the prices of Dal Mash and mutton increased by Rs2.4 and Rs5.5 per kg, respectively.
A record decline in the prices of 10 essential commodities was also witnessed during the last week.
A 20kg bag of flour became cheaper by Rs95.39.
Tomatoes became cheaper by Rs45.6 and sugar by 71 paisa per kg, respectively.
The prices of 22 items, including petroleum products, spices and milk, remained stable during the last week.
