A man was killed when three persons who were riding a motorcycle intercepted his car and after looting cash of Rs890,000 opened fire on him in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place in Gulshan-e-Jadeed area of Karachi.
The showroom owner was identified as Alam Khan was come out of a bank after withdrawing Rs8,90,000 from bank.
A CCTV footage obtained by 24News showed that three persons who were riding a motorcycle intercepted a car on gun-point.
Two accused approached the car and ordered the persons who were sitting in the car to came out.
After searching the car riders the accused opened fire on them while fleeing from the scene.
A wave of panic and harassment gripped the area.
Soon after the incident police team reached the spot and shifted the critically injured showroom owner to a private hospital but he breathed his last on way to hospital.
Police after registering a case started investigation.
