Pakistan’s wonder boy Syed Imaad Ali, 15y, Sunday won the World Youth Scrabble Cup and became the first player in the world to grab the title second time.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistani brilliant player continuing his superiority over the world once again won the game of word and enlightened the name of the country.
As per the report, Syed Imaad Ali won nine games out of 13 in the final round of the WESPA Youth cup held here in Karachi, Pakistan.
In the closing ceremony on Sunday, Guest of Honour Nadeem Umar, an owner of the Quetta Gladiators and President of the PSA awarded the world cup (trophy) to the champion Imaad.
The scrabble championship hosted by Pakistan was played online and six members of the Pakistani team participated in it.
Pakistan team for the WESPA was selected through a two-stage qualifying competition in which more than 60 players participated.
In the Pakistan team, Syed Imaad Ali, Hisham Hadi Khan, Ali Salman, Usman Shaukat, Affan Salman, and Ahmed Salman were included.
Several players from different countries including India participated in the championship and praised the arrangement of the event from Pakistan.
