Caretaker Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Gohar Ejaz  Tuesday announced the establishment of business parks in the country to boost trade, reported the 24NewsHD TYV channel.

Talking to a delegation of leading traders and exporters, he said there is a plan to establish business parks in major cities to strengthen Pakistan's global trade links.  “These parks or facility centers for businessmen will be erected to enhance trade relations and drive economic growth,” he hinted, adding suggestions have been sought from the business community regarding the establishment of business parks.

He vowed that the proposed business parks will be an important milestone for Pakistan's economic growth and prosperity globally.

The minister emphasized that a strategic approach needs to be adopted to increase the country's exports.

Gohar Ejaz said that they would find all possible ways to utilize the export potential of Pakistan during the interim period.

“The use of buying houses and rental buildings managed by the local business community is also being considered.

Gohar Ijaz added that the aim of these measures is to facilitate domestic and foreign traders.
