Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has demanded an open trial for former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt General Faiz Hammed, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the TV channel, in an informal conversation with journalists, the PTI founder insisted on an open trial for Faiz Hameed and claimed that he has had no contact with him since his retirement.
The former ISI chief, according to him, lost his influence after retirement. "How could General Faiz benefit me after his retirement? My issue with him is not an internal matter of the army," he remarked.
The PTI founder repeatedly asked journalists to find out who ordered his arrest, but when pressed to reveal the name himself, he evaded the question. His hesitation was particularly evident when the topic of military courts was raised.

Security sources have responded to PTI founder Imran Khan's remarks about Faiz Hameed, questioning his authority to demand an open trial.
The security sources also assured that if the PTI founder himself faces trial, it will certainly be open and the world will see his acts clearly.
