A delegation of officers of the 7th Civil Service Training Program of Sindh met with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the Sindh officers, CM Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab government gave relief of Rs45 billion to the people in the electricity bill. She wished she could have given more relief if the government has more funds.
Maryam Nawaz rejecting the criticism said what is wrong with paying the bills of the people with the money of the people?
Maryam Nawaz said she will be happy if Sindh government will give relief to the people of Sindh.
Maryam Nawaz said, “We should also want to do the good things that have been done in Sindh, we are also doing many things, Sindh should also look into it”. Maryam Nawaz said “if a good work is being done in a province, there is no problem in adopting it”.
She said, “We are Pakistanis, we have to serve the people, we should have mutual relations”. Maryam Nawaz said she had friendly ties of respect with Murad Ali Shah, Sindh CM.
Punjab CM said PML-N President Nawaz Sharif connected the provinces to each other by building a motorway. Maryam Nawaz said CPEC is for all of Pakistan.
Maryam Nawaz said “change was not possible overnight but one should try. Those who come on merit have more self-respect and sense of responsibility”.
She said Punjab government was making postings and transfers on merit. CM said she told the administration should perform the legitimate work of PMA s and the public.
She said “corruption can be eradicated through digitization. Digitization is a globalize system, people sitting abroad will be able to access government services”.
Maryam Nawaz said “earlier ghost school teachers and enrollment may have been happening but now they are changing the education system”.
Maryam Nawaz said PM Shahbaz Sharif worked very hard on health in Punjab when he was CM here, but in five years of Buzdar govt, the condition of hospitals got very bad. The provincial officers of Sindh Government appreciated the visionary and innovative ideas of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, IG Dr Usman Anwar, Secretaries and other officers were also present.
