Corona positivity ratio touches alarming level in Abbottabad

Abbottabad turned out to be the top city where the maximum coronavirus positivity ratio was recorded followed by Hyderabad and Karachi, showed the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday.

According to the NCOC figures, as of December 22, the highest positivity ratio was recorded in Abbottabad 40.32% followed by Hyderabad 22.12% and Karachi 12.54%.

2398 Covid patients are in critical condition across Pakistan and the number of critical patients is rising fast.

The number of patients in serious condition is rising fast in Pakistan as 2,398 Covid patients were critical across the country.

The positivity ratio in various federating units was: AJK 4.32%, Balochistan is 10.67%, GB 1.00%, Islamabad 3.41%, KP 5.67%, Punjab 4.22% and Sindh 6.29%.

The province-wise Covid positivity ratio was as under: 

Punjab: Lahore 5.80%, Rawalpindi 7.36%, Faisalabad 4.47%, Multan 5.25%.  

Sindh: Karachi 12.54%, Hyderabad 22.12%.

KP: Peshawar 4.03%, Swat 4.61%, Abbottabad 40.32%.

Balochistan: Quetta 8.26%.

Islamabad: ICT 3.41%.

AJK: Mirpur 8.96.
