The Federal Bureau of Revenue has decided to bring into the tax net the fertilizers manufacturers and dealers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The FBR has summoned for the data of dealers and distributors and also directed the fertilizers manufacturers to provide their complete records.
The FBR also sought details of all agreements regarding dealerships and distributorships and bank accounts of all dealers, distributors and sub-dealers.
According to sources, the dealers and distributors were also asked to provide CNIC and NTN numbers of all the buyers of the fertilizers.
