Again alleging rigging in the general elections of 2018, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) President and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Wednesday that those who did that actually had destabilized Pakistan and the constitution, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media, he predicted that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) would taste defeat in the local bodies’ (LBs) elections in the other provinces of the country as well. “The JUI-F stands for a strong Pakistan and a strong constitution,” he claimed.
Afghan education minister meets Fazl:
Afghan Minister for Education Mulla Abdul Baqi Haqqani called on JUI-F chief at his residence in Islamabad, and discussed with him regional issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Haqqani praised Fazl and his party for always extending political support to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, responding to the felicitations and good wishes expressed by former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif to Fazl following JUI-F’s outstanding performance in the LBs polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) three days ago, he thanked him, and vowed that the struggle for the complete restoration of democracy in the country and respect for the people’s right to vote would continue till the achievement of objectives.
He also expressed the resolve to continue his struggle until what he said ‘the selected’ government was sent home.
