The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in a joint operation with Airport Security Force (ASF) at Lahore Airport held a man and a woman and recovered 7kg and 500 grams of heroin from their trolley bag, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The accused were residents of Pakpattan and were travelling to Doha by Qatar Air flight QR-629.
In another operation at Islamabad International Airport, the ANF officials lassoed a Khyber resident and recovered 53 heroin-filled capsules from his stomach.
The accused was going to Sharjah on PA-212 flight.
Similarly, a passenger was travelling to Bahrain from Faisalabad Airport on the FZ-372 flight when he was detained by ANF officials who recovered 1 kg and 830 grams of drug ice from his trolley bag. The accused was the native of Mandi Bahauddin.
Moreover, a total of 1,604 liters of banned chemicals were recovered in 2 separate operations near Chaman Bypass.
The ANF team recovered 50 kg hashish from the bus while conducting an operation near Quetta’s Hazar Ganji Chowk. The recovered drugs were hidden tactfully in the roof of the bus.
Separate cases were registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
