Complaints pile up as Punjab CM visits Lahore’s Children Hospital

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid surprise visit to Children's Hospital Lahore on Friday morning and reviewed medical facilities at the facility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his visit, patients and attendents have piled up complaints regarding giving CT scan reports after three days.
After immediate confirmation of the complaints, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took an action on the spot and called Secretary Health.
Mohsin Naqvi directed that hospitals across Punjab will be bound to provide CT scan and MRI reports to patients within 24 hours.
Mohsin Naqvi said that action will be taken against the hospital management for late provision of CT scan and MRI reports.
“I will not tolerate any delay in CT scan and MRI reports”, Mohsin Naqvi warned.
He said that timely delivery of reports to patients will be monitored at all levels.
Later, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited various wards of the Children's Hospital and also inquired after the children under treatment.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inquired about the medical facilities provided in the hospital from the mothers of the children under treatment.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi gave instructions to the hospital administration regarding the treatment of the children under treatment.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the ongoing upgradation work at the hospital and gave instructions to complete the upgradation project at the earliest.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed the quality of upgradation.
