A violent confrontation erupted between the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Sargodha on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, PTI's Malik Shafqat Awan and PML-N's Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha got into a verbal and physical altercation over some political issues.
The PTI workers also attacked the car of Ranjha, who is a former member of the National Assembly, and damaged it.
The leaders of both parties hurled insults and accusations at each other, creating a tense situation in the area.
The police arrived at the scene and dispersed the crowd. No arrests have been made so far.
