The federal government has announced December 27 as the deadline for pilgrims to submit the second installment of Hajj expenses.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, pilgrims are required to pay Rs 4 lakh for the second installment, with an additional Rs 55,500 allocated for the cost of animal sacrifice.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also outlined optional expenses for accommodations. A double-bed arrangement per pilgrim will cost Rs 259,000, while a triple-bed arrangement requires a payment of Rs 86,500.
Pilgrims are advised to ensure they collect a computerised slip from the bank upon submitting the second installment. This step is mandatory to secure their spot in the Hajj process.
The new directive emphasises the importance of meeting the payment deadlines to ensure a smooth Hajj operation in the upcoming season.
