A mother set her house on fire near Kalalanwala area of Manga Mandi in Lahore, as a result of which two children were burnt to death, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene, but both children were killed before they arrived.

The children were identified as 3-year-old Faizan and 2-year-old Abdul Rehman son of Waqas. Police and rescue teams shifted the burnt bodies to the hospital.

Police said during the investigation into the blaze, the children's mother, Tanzeela, confessed to setting her house on fire.

Police have arrested the accused. The accused mother said she set the house on fire after an argument with her husband.
