Indonesia's Ambassador to Pakistan Adam Tugio, told 24NewsHD TV channel that Pakistan imports most palm oil from his country and a plan is being knitted to conduct trade in local currency.

The envoy said “It is being observed that the cooking oil is becoming expensive in Pakistan, but work is under way on a plan with the help of China to do trade in local currency. The cooking oil will become cheaper when imported under this plan.”

The ambassador said “The plan to trade in local currency from Pakistan in collaboration with China will soon be completed. When the trade is done in local currency, palm oil will also be cheaper in the local market.”

He said “Muslim brothers are with Pakistan to help improve the economic situation.”

He said “Pakistan is the most beautiful country in the world, where tourists from Indonesia also come. In the future, both countries are going to increase trade. If it is done, the prices of medicine in Indonesia which are much higher than in Pakistan will come down also. Importantly, in the future, Pakistani pharmaceutical companies are also encouraged to boost their trade in Indonesia.”
