The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) closed the sightseeing bus service in Bahawalpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the TDCP sources, the management of the sightseeing bus service could manage only two trips in three months.
“The bus was sent back due to the lack of interest by citizens,” said the TDCP administration.
According to the residents of Bahawalpur, the TDCP regional office could not promote the bus despite the fare had been set in accordance with the routes of the bus.
It is pertinent to note here that the sightseeing bus had been brought back to Bahawalpur from Rawalpindi three months ago.
The citizens demanded that the authorities bring the bus back.
