Firing a broadside at PTI founder Imran Khan, former interior minister and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the former premier brought economic disaster on Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that Pakistan was on the path of development and prosperity but a person who was imposed on us through a conspiracy unleashed an economic ruin on Pakistan.
Talking to the media in Faisalabad on Sunday, Rana Sanaullah said that the PML-N people were arrested in false cases but they fought these cases and their position was vindicated.
He said that there was load shedding of more than 20 hours and terrorism in 2013, people used to say that terrorists had come to Swat, they would invade Islamabad too, but we eradicated terrorism and controlled load shedding.
Without naming Imran Khan, Sanaullah said who asked him to dissolve provincial governments in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and on whose request, long march, short march, sit-ins, and protests were held. “Did we ask them (PTI) to bring a flood of people in Rawalpindi on the appointment of Army chief,” the former interior minister asked.
