Privatization Commission board dissolved, members removed

The government has dissolved the Privatization Commission Board and has decided to form a new board, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to sources, the federal cabinet gave its approval to remove the members of the Privatization Commission Board through circulation summary.

The board members who were removed included: Zafar Iqbal Sabani, Arsala Khan Hoti, Zafar Iqbal FCA, Khurram Shahzad, Itrat Hussain Rizvi, Memon Abdul Jabbar, Ashfaq Tola, and Yawar Irfan.

Sources said that the board members remained appointed in the previous PML-N, PTI and current governments. They were recruited in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Zafar Iqbal Sabani and Arsala Khan were appointed in 2013. Zafar Iqbal and Khurram Shahzad were recruited in 2014. While Itrat, Memon Jabbar, Ashfaq Yawar and Irfan were appointed in 2015.
