The negotiation committee formed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) for discussions with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Sunday met with JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The meeting, chaired by Senator Kamran Murtaza, included discussions on the relationship between JUI and PTI to date and the current political situation in the country.
Various proposals and opinions were presented during the meeting, which aimed to chart a course of action for advancing the negotiation process with PTI.
Participants in the meeting included Maulana Lutfur Rehman, Central Spokesman Muhammad Aslam Ghori, Maulana Amjad Khan, and Mufti Fazal Ghafoor. The committee is tasked with defining strategies and setting a framework for future negotiations.
