A newly-married couple was gunned down in Karachi’s Manghupir area on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, both were living in hiding in the Sultanabad area after their marriage. According to initial information, the girl's brothers reached there and opened fire on them.

As a result, both died on the spot. Police said the bodies were being shifted to the hospital for legal proceedings. Further investigation into the incident was underway, police said.
