Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday convened an important meeting of the federal cabinet tomorrow to discuss the country’s overall situation, including the headway made in striking a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar will brief the cabinet about the Supreme Court’s (SC) decision in the Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) reserved seats’ case as well as about the review petition filed in the case.
Placing a ban on the PTI is also likely to come under discussion at the meeting.
The ministry of interior may also be asked to submit a report on the subject.
The meeting will also approve important agenda items.
