Two infants lost their lives after allegedly consuming contaminated milk in Faqirwali, a town of Bahawalnagar District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The siblings, identified as two-and-a-half-year-old Musa and eight-month-old Zainab, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately could not survive.

The devastating event unfolded when the children were given leftover milk from the previous night, which reportedly caused them to fall severely ill. Despite immediate medical attention, the young lives could not be saved.

The parents, overwhelmed with grief, recounted the heartbreaking sequence of events.

They explained that the children showed signs of distress shortly after consuming the milk, leading to an urgent hospital visit.

The sudden and unexpected loss of Musa and Zainab has left their family, particularly their schoolteacher father in deep mourning.
