Gunmen stormed a house in Peshawar on Tuesday morning and shot dead seven persons including women and children of the same family, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Armed persons barged into the house located in Chamkani area of Peshawar and opened indiscriminate firing on the family members, killing seven persons including women and three real brothers.
The police said the killings were the result of a property dispute between the rival groups.
The police have launched a search operation in Chamkani area where this tragedy unfolded early morning.
ASP Chamkani Police Station said that the murders were the outcome of an old enmity rooted in a property dispute.
He said one party had attacked the house of the other. “Police has been constituted on the orders of the CCPO and SSP operations for the arrest of the gunmen,” he added.
According to SP Chamkani, police have arrested four accused involved in the gruesome incident while hunt was on to arrest others.
