Loadshedding of up to 20 hours continued in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) suffered Rs196 billion rupees losses in one year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the document, power consumers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa owe Rs228 billion rupees of PESCO. Loadshedding of up to 2 hours was being conducted on feeders with less than 10 percent of losses. While 2 hours loadshedding was being observed on feeders with 10 to 20 percent of losses.
FESCO was observing loadshedding for 6 hours in areas with 20 to 30 percent losses while with 30 to 40 percent of losses, PESCO was observing loadshedding for 7 hours on feeders.
Moreover, loadshedding of 12 hours continued in feeders with 40 to 60 percent losses and 16 hours load shedding is being done in feeders with 60 to 80 percent damages. Loadshedding of over 20 hours continued in more than 80 areas with power theft and line losses.
