England Friday won the toss and elected to bowl first against South Africa in the second round of the Group 2 matches of the Super Eight stage of the Twenty20 World Cup in St Lucia.
England captain Jos Buttler said it looked like a fresh and good pitch and they fancy another chase.
"Potentially a bit of moisture in the pitch and I'm sure the ball will swing on the breeze."
England are unchanged.
South Africa’s captain Aiden Markram said he would have bowled, too, but isn't too perturbed. "Try to put a good score on the board and squeeze them after that," he said.
South Africa made one change as Ottneill Baartman came back to the playing XI in place f Tabraiz Shamsi. Both the teams have won their respective opening matches in contrasting fashion. South Africa have won all the matches so far in the event but they came close to defeat in all the matches.
Defending champions, England have lost to Australia and the rain washed out their outing against Scotland before they came in form to crush other opponents to make it to the Super Eight. However, their crushing win over the hosts West Indies showed they are yet a power to reckon with and are able to defend their title.
